Maureen Warren
Maureen is a professional artist and educator. She received a BFA from the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA from the University of Illinois, Chicago and studied at the Academies of Fine Art in Cracow and Warsaw, Poland as a Fulbright Fellow. She taught for the Art Resources in Teaching Foundation in Chicago Elementary Schools and as a CPS High School Art Teacher.
Maureen has an extensive international exhibition and curatorial background which will be used to promote the arts in the neglected communities. Mentoring Fulbright International students and sponsoring young artists through the Artist in Residence Program at the Cliff Dwellers Club in Chicago is an ongoing commitment to inclusively enhance the cultural life of the future generations.
From as local as the Southside Wendall Phillips Academy High School to international exhibits in Europe and Asia, her breadth as a Chicago based studio and artist is a valued resource.
